Deputies shoot Fla. man with toy gun

Authorities next discovered it was a toy gun. Deputy Ricco Palermo, a 10-year veteran of the department, confronted the human race with the weapon Thursday after hours and told him to lower it. Instead 56-year-old Gilbert Velez pointed it at the deputy. The deputy fired, hitting the male in the stomach. He is listed in critical process at the hospital.

Authorities consequent epigram that Velez was carrying an AirSoft BB gun, which uses a mould to take the look, sensation and weight of a valid weapon. Palmero is on paid consent while the issue continues.
